There will be JOY this season! Things may happen but know the Lord is your STRENGTH, Time to BE STRONG! The strength of the Lord brings power, sturdiness, firmness, toughness, and soundness to our lives. Joy comes when we are secure in the Lord. It’s a good thing to be prepared to receive. The question can be asked, “How does one receive?”
The answer is by FAITH! We receive by simply believing God’s Word! He said in Nehemiah 8, that the joy of the Lord is our strength!
I saw a car in mind, and felt, these words, “BE PREPARED TO SHIFT.”
Be Prepared to SHIFT into STRENGTH!
Shifting involves going from one position to the next, going from one speed to another, a changing in direction or tendency. Think of a car, the car has 4 states it can be in, Park, Reverse, Neutral, or Drive.
Park: Not in motion, stopped, or halted. Get unstuck refuse not to quit or stop, using God’s strength to shift out of Park in certain areas of our lives. In other words, do something!
Reverse: Backwards motion. We don’t forget things that happened in our past, but it’s important to not live in the past, not to behave as we would in the past. Remember old things have passed away, behold you are a new creation. BE JUST THAT!
Neutral: a state where one can be moved, dependent upon force from the outside. External influences! I find this is a state where a lot of people find themselves. Where situations, people, or our own self, can cause us to be moved backward or forwards. Be reminded of God’s STRENGTH, which is sturdy and powerful. Look to Him and stand and shift out of neutral. In neutral we wait for other people to make things happen instead of responding to God to make things happen. Shifting out of neutral requires hearing from the Lord in our Prayer Time.
Drive: Motion! A Car has different speeds at which it can move. Slow to Fast! Somethings move slower, some things move faster, but you are moving! It’s my personal belief timing belongs to the Lord. We typically want things to happen quickly. I’ve been there, if I pray today, I want it to be answered tomorrow. If not tomorrow… Lord at least the end of the week. Jesus said, “it is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.” Acts 1:7. He was referring to the time of His Return, but I think it can be applied in our everyday life. I said all that to say. Move at the pace God leads you to move, pray about it, and it will manifest at the appointed time. In that time, wait on the Lord and be of good courage. God is always on time, literally!
Something to Note about SHIFTING!
Shifting can be Manually or Automatically! Automatic: working by itself with little or no control human interaction. Manually using the hands, employing human interaction rather than automation. Yet another question to ask, is are you willing to participate in the shift or not! ‘Are you going to be Great or NAWL!?’
I leave you with this, Be Prepared to SHIFT into STRENGTH!!
